Decorative Umbrella "Tsuki Hoko"
The Gion Festival, which colors Kyoto's summer.
This festival, with over a thousand years of history,
holds stories and wishes embedded in each float.
This summer, inspired by its beautiful designs and history,
we have created decorative umbrellas, handcrafted by Kyoto wagasa (Japanese umbrella) artisans.

Decorative Umbrella "Tsuki Hoko"
This decorative umbrella features the "Tsuki Hoko" (Moon Float), one of the prominent floats of the Gion Festival.

Tsuki Hoko is known as a float that enshrines the moon god,
and has long been imbued with wishes for warding off evil and for good health and longevity.
This product features the Tsuki Hoko float,
expressing the lively night of Kyoto reminiscent of the Gion Festival's Yoiyama (eve festival).
You can enjoy the dazzling moments of the Gion Festival with the swaying lights of the lanterns.

These exquisite pieces capture the scenery of the Gion Festival,
symbolizing Kyoto's summer, within small decorative umbrellas.
Please enjoy them as seasonal decorations in your home or as gifts for loved ones.
