T-Light "Wheels"
The Gion Matsuri colors Kyoto's summer.
This festival, with a history spanning over a thousand years,
holds stories and wishes imbued in each of its yamaboko floats.
Inspired by their beautiful designs and history, Hiyoshiya has created
"T-Light," a lantern-shaped lighting fixture handcrafted by Kyoto wagasa artisans.

T-Light "Wheels"
This T-Light is designed with the large wheels that support the yamaboko floats as its motif.

The design uses vermilion and indigo, reminiscent of the decorative fittings of the yamaboko floats, often called "moving museums,"
expressing the historic colors unique to the Gion Matsuri.
By depicting connected wheels as a repeating pattern,
this piece captures the majestic scene of the yamaboko floats slowly parading.

These exquisite pieces capture scenes of the Gion Matsuri, symbolizing Kyoto's summer, within a lantern-shaped light.
Please enjoy them as seasonal decorations in your home or as gifts for loved ones.
About T-Light

You can enjoy it anywhere, such as in the living room, bedroom, entrance, or outdoors.

The product comes with an LED lantern, so you can use it right out of the box.
You can also replace it with your own lamp.
The light, born from the techniques of Kyoto wagasa,
is captivating with the delicate beauty of its radially spreading bamboo ribs and
