Inspired by the traditional « Wagasa »umbrella, the Kotori HG pendant light is characterized by a subtle bamboo framework and soft light filtered through handmade Japanese paper. Its intricate opening and closing mechanism, utilizing the craftsmanship of Kyoto umbrella making, offers the delightful surprise of an instant expansion and makes sure the Kotori lamp shade can be folded compactly.The KOTORI floor light is a design of timeless beauty, suitable for Japanese and modern interiors.

With a diameter of 220 mm and a shade height of 280 mm, the long and narrow pendant type gives an elegant touch to any type of space and is suitable for various uses. Several pendants can be arranged at different length in a hall or staircase, creating the effect of a highly contemporary chandelier. Above a bar counter or over a long dining table, the Kotori pendant light can be used as a single piece or in a row with several other Kotori pendants. You can create your personal arrangement by choosing any combination in color, size or number.

Two color schemes - traditional warm colors and Hiyoshiya original colors - with a total of 12 colors are available.
