This page provides important information about installation for use outside of Japan. Please read the information carefully to ensure a smooth and confident purchase.

Before You Begin

If you have any concerns about electrical wiring or installing lighting fixtures, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed electrician in your country or region. A qualified professional can ensure the installation is done safely and correctly for worry-free and long-lasting use.

Before installing a pendant lamp or any other lighting fixture, please read the instruction manual included with the product carefully. To prevent accidents such as electric shock or fire, it is essential to follow the safety precautions below:

• Make sure the wall switch is turned off.
• Turn off the corresponding breaker switch in your circuit breaker panel (distribution panel).
• Use a tester or similar device to confirm that no electricity is running to the ceiling wires. 

For Customers Living in Countries Where CE-Certified Fixtures Can Be Used

When you purchase a lighting fixture from our shop, a CE-compliant cord set is included along with the lampshade. The product is designed to be safe and reliable for use outside Japan.

Included in the Set:

• Lampshade
• Cord set (CE-compliant lighting fixture, steel frame, transparent ring, nut, bolt, anti-tilt ring)
• Instruction manual 

Please note that the light bulb is not included. Kindly prepare separately a compatible bulb with the following specifications: (E27 base/Maximum 60W/compatible with 220-240V)

For Customers Living in Countries Where CE-Compliant Fixtures Cannot Be Used

In some countries or regions, such as the United States, the CE-compliant cord set included with our products may not be compatible with local electricity standards. In such cases, please purchase a locally approved cord set from a nearby hardware store or electrical supply shop that meets your country’s regulations.

When choosing a compatible cord set, please refer to the following requirements:

Cord Set Specifications:

• The diameter of part (a) must be 39mm or less.
• Sections (a) and (b) shown in the diagram must be removable. 
• The cord set must be compatible with the voltage used in your country.

• Lampshade

• Mounting hardware (transparent ring, nut, bolt, anti-tilt ring)
• Instruction manual

Please note that the light bulb is not included. Kindly prepare separately a bulb compatible with the specifications of the cord set you purchase.
