Purifying the space, calming the mind. A moment of tranquility created by Sahari Orin. | Nanjo Kobo, Kazuya Nanjo 〈Sahari Orin〉
Nanjo Kobo is a workshop specializing in the artisans who create the "orin" bells that are always placed in Buddhist altars.
A special metal called Sahari is poured by hand into clay molds, and each piece is carefully crafted by hand, polishing and firing the cooled and hardened material.
A rare workshop specializing in the production of musical instruments and religious artifacts.
This is one of the few workshops in Japan that specializes in producing musical instruments used in Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples, and homes, including Shinto ritual instruments that make sounds (such as the cymbals used in the Gion Festival and the cymbals used in Gagaku music) and Buddhist ritual instruments (such as the orin and fushigane).
According to Mr. Nanjo, there are only two or three workshops in Japan that can make orin (Buddhist bells) using this technique, so he is preserving a rare traditional skill.

In search of the ultimate, crystal-clear tone.
The defining characteristic of Ms. Nanjo's orin (Buddhist bell) is its clear, resonant sound.
When you ring it, the lingering sound seems to resonate far beyond the horizon.
It leaves a beautiful, lingering resonance with a consistent musical scale.

As a first-generation participant in the Japan Brand Produce School, a talent development program focused on traditional industries and regional development, in which I, Kotaro Nishibori, am also involved as an organizer, she collaborated with a designer she met through the program to launch the brand "LinNe."

Bring the soothing sound of the Sahari Orin into your life.
This bell product utilizes the clear sound of Sahari wood to deliver pure tones to various aspects of life, such as meditation, yoga, and everyday relaxation. While traditional "orin" bells, no matter how beautiful their sound, tend to evoke the image of a Buddhist altar, "LinNe" is a product that brings healing to everyday life with its sophisticated design and beautiful tone.
I also listen to the soothing sounds of "LinNe" when I'm tired, and it helps me refresh.
The "LinNe" series delivers the value of beautiful "sound," so please give it a listen.
