ARTISAN
Kiyohara Orimon : KiyoharaSeiji
Kiyohara Orimono is a long-standing company that continues to create textiles centered around ‘Tsuzure Ori' which is said to have originated in Kyoto during the Muromachi period. Originally used for items like betrothal gifts, fukusa (ritual silk cloth), obi (sash), festival and stage curtains, Tsuzure Ori has been a companion to people as the pinnacle of artistic textiles suitable for festive occasions. Kiyohara Orimono has named the celebratory fabric 'Sufu,' and based on that sentiment, Sufuto accompanies special moments, weaving items appropriate for celebrations and gifts.
